In January 2011, Capital Link expanded its activities into the field of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability, establishing an integrated communications and promotion platform dedicated to these areas.
Objectives:
- to inform and contribute to raising awareness about the benefits of Sustainability and Social Responsibility and το the wider dissemination of its practices:
- both in general for Greek companies through the Capital Link Sustainability Hub, via which
- the actions of socially responsible companies are promoted
- a channel of communication is provided to Associations, Foundations and NGOs to promote their work
- Society and representing bodies’ needs are presented and partnerships between them are promoted
- the access of the business world to NGOs and Non-Profit Organizations is facilitated with full transparency
- as well as for the shipping sector with the "Annual Operational Excellence in Shipping Forum"
- to serve as a platform for dialogue between companies, citizens and stakeholders, promoting partnerships that enhance entrepreneurship and address the major challenges facing Greek society.

Description
The Annual Capital Link Sustainability Forum, keeps up with the developments in all sectors and in all countries, with topics covering the most current trends, gives every year the floor to today's private and public sector leaders and focuses on their efforts in implementing sustainability strategies in critical sectors of the Greek economy, acting as a platform for dialogue to achieve the common goal of Sustainability, Investment and Growth through responsible investment and business practices.
Objective
The Annual Capital Link Sustainability Forum aims to:
- Highlight the challenges, while identifying realistic opportunities for building an economy and society that operate in harmony with the environment.
- Contribute to fostering dialogue on the genuine possibilities and limitations of sustainable development, with the active participation of all stakeholders.
- Help raise awareness that sustainability is not guaranteed, but is continually challenged and requires collective effort, innovation, and consistency.
The Annual Capital Link Sustainability Forum has been held annually for fifteen (15) consecutive years, demonstrating Capital Link’s consistency and ongoing commitment to fostering effective dialogue between companies, citizens, and stakeholders in the field of sustainability.

The Maritime Forum: Annual Operational Excellence in Shipping Forum on Sustainability Challenges in Shipping serves as an interactive communication platform on issues regarding sustainability in Shipping. Bringing together Shipping Companies, Shippers, Governmental and Non-Governmental Associations, Shipowners, Shipping Inspectors, P&I Clubs, Registries, Technology and Service Providers as well as the financial and investment community, the Forum addresses the environmental challenges in all major areas of the industry such as Fleet Management, Technological Innovation, Crew Training and Management, Energy Efficiency and Environment, Maritime Transport, and Conservation and Safety.
