Our goal is to promote Our goal is to promote the importance of empathy at all levels of health care and the need of a patient centered holistic approach with respect to patients’ choices. We are focusing on adolescents and young adults, on the communication of patients and their families with the health professionals and on the assessment and management of cancer and its therapeutic regimen psychiatric and psychological side effects.
We invite patients, survivors, families and caregivers, doctors, psychologists and social workers, nurses and all health professionals who support cancer patients.
Our Forum is organized under the auspices of University of Athens and University of Patras Medical Schools and is supported by CBMDP “Save a Life” and by the Hellenic Society for the Advancement of Psychiatry and Related Sciences.
