| Brief profile: | Surfers4Life is a team that was born from the vision of a cancer patient to cross a sea to empower people involved with cancer. The group successfully organized the 1st Solidarity Crossing , where 23 athletes crossed the Evoikos gulf in June 2012 and raised funds for three NGOs. Since then they continue to organize and participate in activities that contribute and inspire like the 1st Wellbeing Festival held Sunday, June 2nd, 2013 , participation in the 30th Athens Classic Marathon for Doctors without Borders and the 31th Athens Classic Marathon for NGO K.E.F.I., monthly cooking activities for those in need, inspiring talks on the value of contribution at TedMed, Athens Bienalle, different schools and colleges ) .
