| Brief profile: | ENGLISH BRIEF PROFILE OF HELLENIC HEART LUNG TRANSPLANT ASSOCIATION The association of HELLENIC HEART LUNG TRANSPLANT ASSOCIATION was established in 1991 and it is a non profitable organization.Its aim is to help its members who have been transplanted,or expecting the transplant ,or suffer from severe heart and lung problems. Plenty of them have been heart transplanted in Herefield Hospital by Sir MagdiYacoub , the rest of them are lung transplanted in European and greek hospitals. The president of the association mrs Ioanna Levanti has been heart transplanted in 1989 by Sir MagdiYacoub and she is the first long lasting transplanted in Greece. She was candidate in 2011 in LIFE STYLE ‘’WOMEN OF YEAR ‘’AWARD on the section ΄΄LATENT HERO’’ organized by LIBERIS PUBLICATIONS with mrs Dina Dardavessi as co-candidate |
