HRH Crown Princess Katherine of Serbia founded the humanitarian organization Lifeline in 1993 in London and then in Athens, in Chicago, New York and Toronto who have partnered with the foundation of " HRH Crown Princess Katherine Foundation" in Belgrade.

During these difficult years for Serbia , Lifeline and Princess Katherine as responsible, from the Ministry of Health for the social health, provided a large proportion of the humanitarian support which was distributed throughout the former Yugoslavia . The activities were extended to the reconstruction of many hospitals, kindergartens, medical equipment, support of institutions, schools, etc. and continue to this day.

The last three years Lifeline Hellas provides support only to Greece where there are important needs due to the difficult situation now. One of the major activities of the organization is to offer medical equipment to children's hospitals and support children’s institutions.

In 2009, Lifeline Hellas helped the organization "CARE" for the care of children in the last stages of their lives.

In 2010 Lifeline Hellas offered an electrocardiograph and a stress test to the cardiology department of Children's Hospital "P. & A. Kyriakou" in Athens. At the same time offered the conversion of a vehicle in order to help the transportation of the children with a wheelchair in the center of special people “The Joy".

In 2011, Lifeline Hellas offered an open incubator to Children's Hospital "Agia Sofia" in Athens .

In 2012, through the office in London and Athens , Lifeline made the renovation of the two playgrounds, the heating system and the windows of the foundation for the protection and rehabilitation of children and young people with mental retardation "Theotokos". Also, Lifeline Hellas financially supported the Red Cross of Cyprus and the Health Center in Mykonos . Moreover, it offered a full scholarship to a talented student in the private school "Kosteas Geitonas".

In 2013 Lifeline Hellas financially supported the Foundation of Social Work "Hatzipaterio" and offered a monitor for the monitoring of the vital signs of infants and a suction device for the multiple secretions of the infants which are hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit of the Children's Hospital "P. & A. Kyriakou."

HRH Crown Princess Katherine and Lifeline provides help where it is needed regardless of religion and nationality.
